OUR STORY

Every unforgettable place begins with a dream

For Mihra Mist, that dream began long before the first stone was laid — with a vision to create a retreat where nature, thoughtful design, and heartfelt hospitality come together in perfect harmony.

Founded by civil engineer Dev, Mihra Mist is the culmination of 28 years at ISRO, a passion for design, and a lifelong dream to create something lasting. After opting for an early retiring in 2023, he turned that dream into the retreat that stands today.

From selecting the perfect hilltop location to carefully planning every detail of the resort's Japandi-inspired architecture, Dev remained deeply involved at every stage of the journey — overseeing work that would typically be shared across large teams, with the steadfast support of his wife Reshma by his side throughout.

Rooftop Solar Power

Our rooftop solar installation captures the mountain sunlight year-round, powering much of the resort's daily energy needs — from water heating to pathway lighting — saving over 40 tons of CO2 annually and significantly reducing our dependence on grid energy.

Trees

Every ancient tree within the resort boundaries has been deliberately preserved. Centuries-old canopy flora, zero-impact earthen pathways, and protected zones for wild mountain fauna are all part of how we've chosen to coexist with the forest rather than replace it.

Bio-Diverse Organic Fruit Orchard

Our orchard is home to 30+ indigenous fruit species including Rambutan, Tea, Coffee, Pepper, Guava, Abiu — nourished entirely by resort-generated compost and harvested fresh for our farm-to-table menu.
